Whistler is stretched out along the valley, creating 3 separate centres, Whistler Village, Blackcomb Base & Creekside. The sea-to-sky highway (or highway 99) runs from one end to the other with a pretty good bus network to get you from A to B.

WHISTLER VILLAGE & BLACKCOMB BASE

Whistler Village is the centre of “Whistler” and the place people here for the season will visit most.
It’s host to both the Whistler Village Gondola & Excalibur Gondola giving access to Whistler & Blackcomb respectively.
Whistler village is also the main venue for bars and nightclubs.

The Blackcomb Base is much smaller than Whistler Village or Creekside but still has all the essentials to keep you going (small grocery store, bars, restaurants, liquor store & parking!). The Wizard chair gives lift access to Blackcomb mountain (often the fastest option to get up the hill on a busy day) and the Magic Chair for beginners to learn on.

The map to the left shows you the centre of Whistler Village and some of the spots that you'll get to know well in your season!

WHISTLER CREEKSIDE

Whistler Creekside is the second centre of Whistler (though historically the first), it provides direct access to Whistler mountain via the Creekside gondola and has its own set of shops (including grocery & liquor), bars & restaurants - its the home of the famous Dustys ski-bum bar!
