British Columbia has so much to offer, why not see it all! We encourage excursions that let you experience life outside the Whistler bubble. These are down to you to organize but we’re more than happy to lend our hand and offer advice. Below is a list of some of the more fun experiences we’ve had over the past few years.

Interior Powder Trip – Winter Guests

Whistler is great, don’t get us wrong, but it is not the only mountain in this part of the world. Why not go and discover all that the interior of BC has to offer. It would be a shame to miss out on such places as Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Kicking Horse and Sun Peaks. Check with Vail Resorts on regarding access from your Epic Season Pass. They have a large list of resorts that the pass gives you access to and it seems to grow each season.

Make sure to pack your wet suit! It’s cold water surfing in Tofino, but don’t let that put you off. It’s a great chance to explore one of the most picturesque landscapes Canada has to offer. With dozens of white sand beaches and some well know surf spots, Tofino is a surfer’s paradise. New to surfing? No problem, there are tones of local surf shops that can help you out with everything from rentals to lessons. Scared of cold water? With dozens of maintained hiking trails including the famous Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino has some spectacular places to just go out and explore.

Hockey Night in Vancouver – Winter Guests

An NHL hockey game is fast paced heart stopping excitement. Come with us to watch the Canucks take on a division rival or maybe even your favorite team. Most games are played at night so staying in Vancouver for the night is a nice added bonus to this trip.

Though the MLS is no Premier League, the atmosphere is still electric. Head down to Vancouver to cheer on the White Caps. They play at BC Place, a stadium that holds 54,000 excited fans. Being close to downtown, it is also a great opportunity to head to the city and do some shopping, check out some Bars or just chill in English Bay.

Since Vancouver is one of the largest media markets in Canada, it attracts a lot of great acts. With lots of great venues to choose from, you can experience a wide variety of shows.

Have someone you think everyone should see? Post it on the Ride On Whistler Facebook groups and get your team together for an awesome night in the City.
